I feel so seen! I guess a big step is being clear on the skills we already have that can support this type of career.

I’m thrilled this spoke to you Agatha! I truly believe HSP's have so much to offer, we just don't fit into the normal conventions, so the more we can become aware of our unique strengths, the more we can design careers that help us thrive ❤️

I love this so much, it’s so refreshing to read something that speaks right to my core. I never put it together that I am most likely a HSP until right now.

Thank you for sharing your work, it is so helpful in a time where I feel so uncertain. I just wrote about this exact feeling yesterday in a short prose: https://open.substack.com/pub/thefeelingscorner/p/choosing-softness-in-a-world-that?r=59pjqp&utm_medium=ios

I feel this! I just had a job change 2 months ago from a job with set hours and having to be “on” the whole time (customer service) and now am trying to make freelance work and figuring out how to diversify my income streams. I love having autonomy over my time! Not sure how i managed before.

Ha, yes I can totally relate to this Maggie! Once we discover the freedom on the other side, it hard to go back to anything else. That's amazing you're building your freelance career, it sounds like this way of working is really aligned with your needs so congrats on taking a leap that honors this! ❤️

That is interesting. I am a highly sensitive spiritual person. I had a hard time when I worked never really fit in anywhere and didnt share that side at work as I didnt feel that it was appropriate. Now I am growing my writing career on here writing about my spiritual experience and sharing my knowledge.
